Riding Lessons
At Eden Hills, we believe that horseback riding is a skill that can be enjoyed by riders of all levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced rider looking to improve your skills, we have a lesson program that's right for you.Our beginner lessons are designed to introduce you to the basics of horseback riding from the ground up, including proper horsemanship, posture, balance, and control. Our experienced instructors will work with you one-on-one to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in the saddle.
For intermediate and advanced riders, we offer more specialized training programs that focus on improving specific skills, such as dressage or jumping. Our instructors will work with you to identify your goals and develop a customized training plan that will help you achieve them.
Whether you're looking for a fun hobby or a serious competitive endeavor, we have something for everyone.
Horse Training
We offer a variety of training options to suit the needs of both horse and rider. Full training at Eden Hills includes an average of 5 training sessions a week, customized based on the needs of the individual horse and rider. Full training may include a combination of groundwork/lunging/long lining sessions, professional training rides focusing on dressage, pole/cavoletti work, jumping, hacking out/conditioning and/or lessons.Full training packages are fluid and personalized based on the needs of the horse and owner/rider. Young/green horses, leg-up reconditioning, show campaigning, project horses, off-the track thoroughbred re-starting, riders who may feel “outhorsed” and need pro rides on their horse while they take lessons on a school horse or their own horse, and any busy rider wanting to get a leg up on the competition with a fit, well schooled horse!
